A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection morning that left one person dead and another wounded.

Margarito Najera is being held pending the filing of formal charges, which Arapahoe County prosecutors are expected to do on Monday.
Records show Najera is being held without bail at the Arapahoe County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.
The shooting happened about 8:45 a.m. on the 9500 block of East 14th Avenue in northwest Aurora. Thatap just south of where Clinton Street and East Colfax Avenue intersect.
“When officers got on scene they found, two adult male shooting victims,” said Sgt. Chris Amsler, an Aurora police spokesman. “One had very serious injuries and our officers began life-saving measures.”
Both wounded men were taken to a hospital where was pronounced dead. Amsler says the other victim is expected to survive, though an update on his condition was not released Monday.
A person of interest was taken into custody at the shooting scene, but it’s not clear if that was Najera.
