A female was shot near Interstate 25 and 20th Street on Thursday shortly after 9 p.m., but her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Denver police said.
The woman was taken to a hospital after being contacted at 11th and Auraria Parkway.
Investigators aren’t sure of the motive behind the shooting, Denver police spokesman John White said.
The suspect in the shooting is a white man with a beard wearing a gray, short-sleeve T-shirt. Police are looking for a Ford double cab truck, possibly maroon in color.
