Authorities in Colorado Springs have identified a 45-year-old man fatally stabbed on Sunday .

Jeremy Basamania died in the southeast part of the city.
Two men have been arrested in connection with Basamania’s death.
Jason Kover, 35, likely will face a first-degree murder charge, while Michael Adkisson, 33, was arrested on accusations of accessory to first-degree murder. Records show Kover is being held at the El Paso County jail in lieu of bail.
The stabbing happened at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday at the Quail Hill Mobile Home Park. Basamania was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified a person of interest and went to the 3600 block of Sheffield Lane for an interview. Officers wound up circling the house, and a SWAT team responded before Kover and Adkisson were eventually taken into custody.
Colorado Springs police haven’t said what motivated Basamania’s killing.
At this time last year, two homicides, and the city saw 22 homicides — a seven-year low — in all of 2016.
