Saturday, May 13 will be your last chance to eat at Troy Guard’s Lucky Cat restaurant in Lowry.
Guard, who has plenty of , decided to close up the Chinese eatery to focus on the rest of his restaurant empire.
Lucky Cat was known for Asian tacos (maybe we’ll see them again at Los Chingones?), sushi rolls and American Chinese staples like orange chicken and sweet and sour pork. I loved that it was one of the only restaurants around serving saimin, Hawaii’s take on ramen.
Lowry seems to be tough on restaurants right now, with Justin Brunson’s getting a menu makeover in March to try to better fit into the neighborhood.
