Re: May 11 editorial.

The Editorial Board continues to cite flawed and discredited arguments about parking in its support for parking minimums. Abundance of parking creates more traffic than a lack of parking. Furthermore, the cost to provide parking, up to $20,000 per structured space, is passed on to residents.

We don’t need self-driving cars before we can start addressing the problem. We need to stop subsidizing/forcing developers to build wasted space for parked cars.
