Regarding the recent “He lied,” “No, HE lied” issues underway in Washington:
Many motorists now have installed dash cameras to document and record the truth of incidents that may involve their vehicles. Many homeowners have cameras installed both inside and outside that record possible intruders. Law enforcement officers all around the country are required to wear and use body cameras to document legal justification for their actions when dealing with situations where questions are raised regarding the truth. These recordings are ultimately valuable for all parties, both accuser and accused.
Perhaps it’s time for all members of the White House, including the president and his staff, to wear body cameras with voice recorders at all times when in contact with each other, for any reason. This may seem rather extreme, but sadly, it appears to be an indication of the direction we’re heading.
