Some Regional Transportation District bus and light rail routes will have detours and service disruptions this weekend as Denver hosts festivals and parades for Juneteenth and PrideFest.

The northernmost part of the D-Line is temporarily halted from the 18th/California station to the 30th/Downing station Saturday until 10 p.m. A bus will pick up service in that area. The rest of the light rail system, including the downtown loop on the D-Line, are not affected.

Bus routes will have a minor detour around Civic Center Park through Sunday. A parade starting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning will cause minor detours as it proceeds on East Colfax Avenue from Franklin Street to Civic Center Park. The parade is expected to go on for three hours.

For more route and schedule information, visit or call RTD’s Telephone Information Center at (303) 299-6000. Those with impaired hearing and speech can call (303) 299-6089.
