Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to Stapleton.
The rapidly growing specialty grocery chain will open a 30,000-square-foot store in the 3500 block of Central Park Boulevard, anchoring the , developers announced Wednesday. The store is expected to open in fall 2018.
“We are so excited to welcome Sprouts Farmers Market not only to our new TOD, but to Stapleton as a whole,” Forest City Stapleton senior vice president Jim Chrisman said in a statement.
The grocery store will be part of the first phase of what will eventually be a 4 million-square-foot .
A 190,000-square-foot Class A office building, a 300-unit apartment building, a 110-unit condominium project and another 12,000 square feet of retail space also are expected to start coming out of the ground next spring.
”Sprouts will be a great addition to Forest City’s visionary plans for Central Park Station, further solidifying its position as an exciting new alternative to downtown, both for urban type residential and commercial opportunities,” said David Friedman, president of D.H. Friedman Properties, which is developing the condos and retail.
