A driver towing a boat on Interstate 25 Friday inadvertently launched it on the highway.
The mishap happened after 4 p.m. in the southbound lanes going through Castle Rock, the Colorado State Patrol said.
“Boating is illegal on the Interstate,” the CSP tweeted. No injuries were reported.
Just when you thought I25 couldn't get any worse going south through CRock on a Friday. Boating is illegal on the Interstate.

The boat accident backed up traffic on the busy interstate.
At 5:15 p.m., the state patrol tweeted that the boat had been removed and the highway was back to “smooth sailing” with “heavy volume as usual.”
