A Prius and the light rail crashed Friday morning at Park Avenue and Welton Street, pinning the car between the rail and pole and shutting down D-line service.
The Denver Fire Department said the person in the car was OK and has been extricated. One person on the train has a minor injury. Firefighters cut the car in half and called a tow truck to remove it.
