The Denver metro area is gearing up for the Fourth of July by being warm and dry.

Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high that reaches 88 degrees, National Weather Service meteorologist Todd Dankers said. It’ll warm up slightly Sunday with a high around 90 degrees.

Both Saturday’s and Sunday’s overnight lows should hang around the bottom of the 60s, he said.

The warm weather is expected to stick around with temperatures in the low 90s Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
