In a report from the Nebraska State Patrol, Sheila Matheny, 54, and James Matheny 61, of Bedford, Iowa were on a motorcycle, Michal Weese, 58, and Jerolyn Weese, 59, of Council Bluffs, Iowa were on a second motorcycle. A third vehicle is suspected to have crossed the center line and entered the oncoming lane hitting the two motorcycles and killing the four passengers,
The driver of the other vehicle has not been identified and was transported to Colorado for treatment of injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Officials from the Colorado State Patrol have not yet released information in regards to the accident at CR 20 and Hwy 385 as of this morning, and there has been no official release of the parties names involved in the accident.
