Denver coroner identifies victims in separate deadly shootings

Lonnie Harris, and Don Sperow both died of gunshot wounds.

The Denver medical examiner on Monday identified two men shot to death last week in separate incidents.

The first victim was Lonnie Harris Jr., 52, who was in the 9200 block of East Nassau Avenue near South Boston Street.

Police responding to a report of shots fired found Harris just before 4 a.m.

He was taken to Denver Health medical center, where he was pronounced dead.

Early . The 25-year-old died of multiple gunshot wounds when he was shot in the Skyland neighborhood about 1 a.m.

Another man was seriously wounded in the the shooting near York Street and 29th Avenue.

Police have not released other details about the victims or suspects.
