Denver police on Sunday issued a bulletin offering up to $2,000 for information on the killing of a 39-year-old man outside the 7-Eleven on Colfax Avenue east of the state Capitol.

The police say they鈥檙e looking for two young men suspected of being involved in the killing and fleeing east on Colfax in a white sedan with a sun roof.

Early Sunday, police responded to a call alerting them to the shooting, which killed Justin Slyter outside the convenience store at 551 E. Colfax Ave.

Anyone with any information related to the killing should call the Crime Stoppers number 720-913-7867, police said. Callers can remain anonymous.
