A 30-year-old man reportedly threw his 2-year-old cousin into busy lanes of traffic in Colorado Springs just after 9 p.m. Friday night.

Motorists driving down Academy Boulevard and Airport Road avoided hitting the boy, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Police arrested Bryant Hickcoz on charges of attempted murder. Additional charges were also filed.
