Let’s see if I have this right: President Donald Trump stated he wouldn’t have hired Jeff Sessions for attorney general if he knew Sessions would recuse himself from the Russian investigation? Perhaps he thought that having a “loyal subject” would dampen the investigation?
Even though I’m not a fan of Sessions, I still think it was the honorable and right thing to do.
