After reading Jonathan Allen’s column in last Sunday’s Post, I thought of Will Rogers’ quote: “I belong to no organized political party. I am a Democrat.” I don’t know when Will said that, but I do know that he died in 1935, so it was a long time ago. All I can say to both Rogers and Allen is, “Amen, brother.” I am a Democrat, too. Sadly, the fact that the party’s first post-Trump order of business is to devise a lame slogan comes as no surprise.
