The driver of a pickup died Monday when his truck hit a guardrail and rolled down Lookout Mountain.
The crash closed Lookout Mountain Road near Windy Saddle Park, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened about 6 p.m., said Trooper Nate Reid, State Patrol spokesman. The crash involved a Dodge Ram pickup. Only the driver was inside.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The man died at the scene.
