Taylor Swift fans have taken to Twitter with a specialized ribbon and hashtag in support of the singer whose civil trial against a former Denver radio host starts Monday.
The fans, many calling themselves “Swifties,” created an image of a teal ribbon with a “T” and “S” on top. Teal is considered the ribbon color for sexual assault and sexual violence awareness. Some fans have tweeted out the image while others have changed it to their profile picture.
Fans have also started the hashtag #StayStrongTaylor. Many of the tweets with the hashtag have encouraging words for the pop singer.

In 2013, Swift held a meet-and-greet before her concert at the Pepsi Center. During a photograph with Mueller and his girlfriend, Swift alleges that Mueller put his hand under her skirt and groped her. Security kicked the radio host out of the concert and Swift’s manager called the station to inform them of the incident.
In 2015, , saying her allegations were false. He said he had been chatting with the singer when she suddenly announced that it was time for a picture and moved toward his girlfriend. Mueller said he had to quickly jump over to be in the photo. He said no inappropriate contact happened.

Mueller is seeking $3 million in damages. Swift is seeking $1 in damages.
