Another dreary day of rain and thunderstorms is forecast Tuesday along the Front Range.
The high temperature is expected to be about 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Scattered rain showers are expected in the morning while thunderstorms could roll in during the afternoon. There’s 40 percent chance for precipitation Tuesday afternoon, which increases to 60 percent in evening. The low temperature will be around 55 degrees, the weather service says.
The strongest storms could produce wind gusts of up to 40 mph, the weather service says.
There’s a 30 percent chance for afternoon rain and thunderstorms both Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will rise to about 78 degrees on Wednesday and 80 on Thursday, forecasters predict.
It will be mostly sunny Friday, but there’s still a 20 percent chance of afternoon rain and thunderstorms.
Rain will diminish on the weekend and first part of next week. Temperatures will gradually increase from a high of 81 degrees on Saturday to 85 on Monday.
