The Sept. 1 Rocky Mountain Showdown between the University of Colorado and Colorado State at Sports Authority Field at Mile High can be seen exclusively on the Pac-12 Network, which means it won’t be available to DirecTV subscribers.

CU is the home team, thus it has the TV rights with its conference, the Pac-12. The conference offered the game to its TV partners, but it wasn’t picked up, according to Buffaloes spokesman David Plati.

“We moved the game to Friday in hopes that it would be picked up by ESPN or FOX/FS-1, but they passed on it so it fell to the third tier, the Pac-12 Network,” Plati said.

The Pac-12 Network is carried by providers Century Link, Dish Network, SlingTV and Comcast. For more information about the Pac-12 Network,
