If you’re searching the south metro area for a family-sized home, maybe a ranch model on a walkout site, and you’re finding neither the inventory nor the pricing you’re after, Dream Finders Homes has a deal for you this weekend at Inspiration, off E-470 at Gartrell. Dream Finders arrived on the home scene in 2008, just as many national builders were folding their tents, and grew rapidly in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Their first Colorado homes in Arvada and Longmont are fast-sellers — and now they’re reaching into Douglas County at master-planned Inspiration.
On this holiday weekend, Dream Finders has a sales center open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. where you can see six unique plans, including some exceptionally sized ranches, and tour some homesites close to Inspiration’s amenities that include places to match a home to a day-lit walkout basement or garden-level, at a very modest lot premium.
If you’ve already shopped Inspiration and know other builders’ pricing, you’ll like the looks of a Boca four-bedroom ranch — 2,754 square feet, with four baths and a full-wide, three-car garage. Dream Finders’ business model is all about delivering premium features that virtually everybody wants, at no extra cost. On the Boca, those standards include a gas fireplace, air conditioning, stainless appliances including gas range, slab granite counters with a granite backsplash, a 9-foot basement and more.
That big Boca ranch has a base price of $534,990 — a value price that can deliver a beautiful home in Inspiration, according to Tom Martinez, Colorado division president for Dream Finders. “This is the time to pick out an exceptionally equipped home and a great lot to match, in a community with a genuine Colorado lifestyle,” he says. “At pre-model pricing you can be assured you’re getting a quality home at the best price point.”
“One of the benefits of working with Dream Finders Homes,” adds Martinez, “is that you’ll find we are more willing to personalize your home around your needs and lifestyle than any builder you’ve talked with. We have a great staff that know the ins-and-outs of homebuilding to help you.”
Prices on Dream Finders roomy plans begin with a Summit ranch, almost 2,200 square feet plus a three-car garage at $474,990; and include a family-sized Willow two-story, 2,387 square feet, from $485,990. At Inspiration, with its exceptional commuter access into the south I-25 corridor (my trip out from the DTC was only 15 minutes), Dream Finders reps will compare those plans to any home you’ve priced out with another builder, and show you item by item how much you can save on any of the add-ons.
They’ll also tour you around the amenities, including trails and a pool club with event lawn, where the community staged a “craft-beer, barbecue and blues” event a few weeks ago, drawing a big turnout by current residents. “There’s a genuine sense of community here,” Martinez says. Inspiration is served by popular Douglas County Schools in nearby Parker.

To visit Dream Finders’ information center at Inspiration, take E-470, exit at Gartrell Road, then head south on Gartrell, past the entryway to Inspiration, another mile to the end of the road at Rocky Top Avenue. Turn right a half block to E. Tansy, then left a half block to Rocky Top Place.
