A statewide Amber Alert has been canceled after a Commerce City woman and her child were found safe on Friday, state officials say.
Kidnapping suspect Mauricio Venzor-Gonzalez remains at large.

Venzor-Gonzalez Samantha Adams and their 1½-year-old son Zahid Adams from 7351 Dexter St. in Commerce City at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
“He forced her at gunpoint,” Adams County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Deputy Amanda Overton said.
Witnesses saw them climb into a Honda sedan and leave, Overton said. The car was found parked behind a medical center at 1741 Cypress St. in Pueblo late Thursday afternoon.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert on Thursday afternoon, seeking help in locating the suspect and victims. Adams County sheriff’s officials said at a news conference that Venzor-Gonzalez should be considered armed and dangerous.
She said Venzor-Gonzalez has a juvenile criminal record.
He is described as 5-foot-6 with black hair and brown eyes, weighing about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap. Police on Thursday believed Venzor-Gonzalez could have been heading to the Trinidad area on Interstate 25.
