It will be partly sunny with a high of about 86 degrees Friday in Denver, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Southwesterly breezes could gust up to 23 mph.
Isolated storms are expected over the Colorado plains Friday afternoon. Temperatures will drop to about 56 degrees Friday night.
It will be sunny and hot on Labor Day weekend with temperatures in Denver rising to 90 on Saturday, 94 on Sunday and 89 on Monday, forecasters say.
There’s a slight chance of evening rain on Labor Day.
The high temperature will plunge to about 77 degrees on Tuesday and then gradually rebound into the 80s on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, the NWS says.
