Loveland police are investigating the death of a 52-year-old man who appears to have been run over or hit, suffering blunt trauma, at an off-site parking and shuttle stop for the Thunder in the Rockies motorcycle rally.

It is unclear whether the death was intentional or accidental. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Loveland police. His identity has not been released as detectives are still attempting to notify next of kin.

Police went to the lot, which is northeast of Interstate 25 and Crossroads Boulevard, at about 1 a.m. on Saturday. The area was well lit and staffed by security, according to police.

Detectives believe more witnesses saw the incident but haven’t come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Chris Kamoske at 970-962-2259.
