Students, immigrants, impacted individuals and community members marched on the Tivoli Quad at Denver’s downtown Auraria Campus to defend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program during a city wide walkout and rally Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017. Protesters rallied against a decision by the Trump administration to end an Obama-era program that protected them and other young immigrants brought illegally to the U.S. as children. Students and faculty also showed support as they held signs along Speer Blvd at Viking Park at Denver North High School.
