Brian Scott Pattison, 31, was sentenced to life in prison with no parole in the first-degree murder of a man and first-degree arson in the Rosenberg’s Bagels building fire.A tattoo artist and setting fire to his Five Points apartment above a Rosenberg’s Bagels shop last year was sentenced Friday to life in prison with no chance of parole.
Brian Pattison, 31, also received 24 years in prison for first-degree arson for starting a fire in an apartment belonging to Shane Richardson. Denver firefighters found the body of Richardson, , among the ruins of the burnt out apartment on East 26th Avenue.
Authorities said Pattison in late April and early May 2016. Pattison, a tattoo artist from Colorado Springs, was visiting Richardson at his Denver apartment in order to finish a tattoo, police said.
