The Scrooges out there may think it’s too early to get into the holiday spirit, but what if we’re talking about holiday spirits? New York City’s Christmas-themed pop-up bar Miracle is coming to Denver beginning Friday, Nov. 24, and I’m so excited that I might have to break out the Christmas lights right this second.
Miracle makes spirits bright by decorating with vintage Christmas d–cor, putting on some old-school festive music, and shaking up holiday cocktails like the “You’ll Shoot Your Rye Out” (pumpkin-spiced rye whiskey, marshmallow syrup, egg) and the “How the Gimlet Stole Christmas” (gin, sage and pine and caraway cordial).
I’m positively quivering with Christmas magic right now. It’s Christmas, it’s nostalgia and it’s alcohol, all wrapped up into one wistful, dazzling package.
The only thing that could make this news any better is if there were Christmassy treats to go with the Christmassy cocktails. Wait … I just got word that there will be Christmassy treats to go with the Christmassy cocktails!
That’s it. I’m moving in.
