The Denver Police Department is investigating a shooting took place Saturday afternoon on the 7100 block of East Mississippi Avenue just across from Frances Weisbart Jacobs Park.
The victim was wounded in the leg and transported to the hospital, police said. The injury is not life-threatening.
One female suspect is in custody. The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time, police said.
