A fatal traffic crash on Colorado 93 Monday afternoon sparked a grass fire after the two vehicles burst into flames.
The crash in Boulder County involved a BMW and a semi truck, according to the State Patrol. The driver of the BMW died in the crash. The truck driver has injuries described as minor.
The drivers were not immediately identified. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

Colorado 93 was closed between Colorado 72 and Colorado 128. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
