
The cool, dreary weather is sticking around Denver on Sunday and is expected to continue into Monday as the city kicks off fall.
The National Weather Service in Boulder is calling for a high near 53 degrees with a 50 percent chance of rain Sunday. Temperatures in Denver are set to drop into the 40s at night with a 60 percent chance of rain and light winds.
On Monday, the high is set to top out near 54 degrees, with a 20 percent chance of rain.
Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be mostly sunny and warmer.

Some high country areas were expected to get as much 5 inches of snow before the weather system moves out.
