Few passings in recent memory have shaken the music community like the death of pop star David Bowie. Though the pop singer died just a year and a half ago, a glut of tribute concerts have cropped up in the interim, from and alike.

In 2018, three of Bowie’s bandleaders — keyboardist Mike Garson, guitar and vocalist Adrian Belew and guitarist Gerry Leonard — will join forces with other musicians for a new Bowie tribute that will set off on a world tour, including a stop in Denver.

The 26-city tour, which kicks off on the two-year anniversary of Bowie’s death, imagines what a Bowie show might sound like in 2018, some 14 years after his last tour. Besides Garson, Belew and Leonard — who have a combined 30 years of Bowie collaboration between them — the show promises a smattering of talent, like Guatemalan singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno, including surprise guests.

“Celebrating David Bowie” comes to Denver’s Paramount Theatre on Feb. 25. Ticket pricing was not available at press time. Watch this space for updates, and check out the tour’s for more info.
