beer garden, featuring the brews of 10 Colorado breweries, runs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Oct. 9. A $10 ticket — cash at the gate only — buys curious sippers a 2-ounce commemorative glass they can have filled up to 10 times.
The beer garden will be in outdoor plaza located between the airportap main Jeppesen Terminal building and the Westin Denver International Airport hotel on the fifth level. (Keep an eye out for the event.)
“It is great to have “Beer Flights” back for a fourth year to showcase Colorado’s outstanding microbrew industry,” airport CEO Kim Day said in a news release. “After all, Colorado is well known for great beer and what better way to enjoy it than at the airport on our stunning outdoor plaza.”
All 10 brewers on hand are members of the Colorado Brewers Guild. They include Avery Brewing, Prost Brewing and Denver Brewing Co.
will be part of the “Beer Flights” for fourth year, marketing director Sarah Watson said. She said it is great way to reach all of the beer-loving travelers coming through Denver for GABF, which runs Oct. 5-7.
Left Hand will be serving up pours of its flagship Sawtooth Ale as well as its Travelin’ Light Kolsch.
“DIA is one of the busiest airports in the country and during the GABF we have a lot of traffic that comes through Denver,” Watson said. “Itap just an honor to be included in the flight.”
