
Running back was among the Broncos’ 46 active players Sunday for their game against the Raiders, putting him in line to make his season debut.
Booker underwent surgery in late July to repair a fractured wrist and missed all of training camp. The fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft was a full participant for the Broncos in practice the past two weeks.
Booker led the Broncos last season with 612 yards rushing. His 31 receptions — for 265 yards — were the third-most on the team.
“Booker had a great week,” Broncos coach said Friday. “He’s gotten better each day.”
Also active and set to make his Broncos debut was veteran defensive end Ahtyba Rubin, who signed with Denver three weeks ago after being waived by the . Wide receiver was also active for the first time.
The addition of Booker to the Denver backfield moved rookie De’Angelo Henderson to the list of inactives. Henderson played in each of the Broncos first three games but had just one carry, which came on a fake punt last week against the Bills.
The other inactives for the Broncos on Sunday: quarterback , offensive guard , defensive end Zach Kerr, nose tackle Kyle Peko, cornerback and wide receiver , who was limited practice last week as he dealt with a knee injury.
Among the inactives for the Raiders was wide receiver .
