Four people were taken to a Denver hospital Saturday after a crash on I-70 near the Havana Street exit.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m., said Officer Marika Putnam, a Denver Police Department spokesman. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and the condition of those injured was unavailable Saturday morning, she said.

Emergency workers closed three lanes of eastbound I-70 for several hours. They were working to get all lanes re-opened as of 7:30 a.m., Putnam said.

The accident remains under investigation.
