“Irregular shopper?” A security officer at King Soopers, 100 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, reported watching a shopper select two packages of salmon and a couple of rib eye steaks at the store on Aug. 28. The shopper then allegedly walked out of the store without paying for anything. Security officers said they didn’t pursue him because they said the man is a regular shopper, according to a police report. On Sept. 1, the man returned to the store and security officers asked him about the theft.They told police the man apologized and paid for the items.
Storage unit snipped open. A man called police to his home near the 5400 block of Landmark Place, Greenwood Village, to report that someone cut open his storage unit in the parking garage and stole an $11,000 road bike Sept. 7. The storage units are made of chain fencing, and it was clear that someone cut the victim’s unit open.
Tattoo guns missing. Police were called to the Littleton RTD light-rail station, 5780 S. Prince St., Littleton, because a woman said she left a case containing tattooing equipment worth about $300 on the train when she exited at Union on Aug. 28. RTD security camera footage showed a man with the case leaving the train at the Downtown Littleton stop, police said.
Unlocked car. Someone opened a woman’s unlocked car Sept. 15 while it was parked in the 4900 block of South Yosemite Street, Greenwood Village, and stole two digital cameras and a bottle of Japanese whiskey from the front seat, according to a police report. There are no suspects.
