Denver police found no weapon after East High School was placed on lockdown due to a report of a weapon on campus.
The school was placed on lockdown at 9:45 a.m. after police received the report, said Alex Renteria, spokeswoman for Denver Public Schools.
At 10:48 a.m. police tweeted that officers were clearing the scene and hadn’t found a weapon.
In modified lockdown, “instruction is continuing and students are in their clasrooms,” Renteria said.
UPDATE: Officers are clearing the scene. No weapon was located.
