The 1600 block of Market Street is about to get louder, tastier and hoppier: Oskar Blues Grill & Brew will host its grand opening on Dec. 9.
OBG&B has been working to transform the 10,636-square-foot, two-story former Croc’s Mexican Grill space into a bar, restaurant and live music venue hybrid, and it’s just about ready to invite you in.
“Oskar Blues is a home-grown Colorado company and we’re excited to be front and center in the Denver market, showcasing our passion for food, brew and live music,” said Jason Rogers, co-founder of Oskar Blues Fooderies.
Downstairs, the Black Buzzard will host musicians spanning genres from bluegrass to rock to reggae. The 5,000-square-foot venue can hold 330 people and countless beer cans.
Upstairs, the restaurant will serve a Southern-inspired menu of Creole and Cajun dishes like fried green tomatoes and jambalaya mac and cheese. Also, Oskar Blues makes great burgers.

Of course, there will also be beer, with the Oskar Blues brews you know and love plus a whole lot more. There’ll be 48 rotating craft beers on tap, because this is America and you, as an American, require options.
This will be Oskar Blues’ third Grill & Brew location, following popular spots in Lyons and Colorado Springs.
