Two people were shot Thursday in northeast Denver and were taken to a hospital, where one died.
The shooting happened in the 5100 block of East Thrill Place, according to the Denver Police Department. The area is just north of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, between Dahlia and Holly streets.
Police did not release a description of a suspect or a possible motive in the shooting. The names of the victims were not released. The second victim is in stable condition, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
