Re: “,” Nov. 11 editorial.

Kudos to Rep. Mike Coffman for sponsoring this much-needed veterans bill, which, according to your editorial, “would make it easier for more troops to be screened for mental health issues and properly treated for problems.” However, there’s still the prospect of getting it funded. There have been numerous bills passed over the last few decades to address the needs of our veterans, but the lack of funding has hobbled their effectiveness. Hopefully that will change, but with a $1.5 trillion addition to the national debt if the current tax reform bill passes, I have my doubts.
