Trevor Siemian, Isaiah McKenzie among Broncos’ inactives vs. Bengals

Quarterback Trevor Siemian, a team captain and previously the Broncos’ starter, is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. Second-year quarterback was elevated to backup after a full week of practice with no setbacks.

Sunday is the first game this season in which Lynch is active, following a lengthy recovery from a right shoulder sprain.

Joining Siemian on the inactive list are tight end (knee), running back De’Angelo Henderson, cornerback , offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, linebacker DeMarcus Walker and receiver Isaiah McKenzie.

Heuerman was ruled out Friday with a knee injury.

McKenzie opened the season as the team’s leading punt returner, but after five muffs and with two lost, the Broncos opted to bench him for . Running back will continue to return kickoffs.
