A teenager fatally shot Saturday in a McDonald’s parking lot in west Denver has been identified.
Steve Soledad-Lopez, 17, was taken from the shooting scene, in the 2800 block of West Alameda Avenue, to Denver Health medical center, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Denver coroner’s office.
The coroner’s office said it was notified of the death at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday. Police first notified the public of in a tweet just before 3 a.m. Saturday.
Update: Federal & Alameda death investigation: Death now being investigated as a homicide. No suspect information available at this time.
