A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run incident in Littleton during the weekend, and police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect.
The incident happened about 7:30 p.m. Saturday near South Broadway and Caley Avenue, according to Littleton police.
The victim, a man, was severely injured and taken to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Witnesses told investigators that the victim was hit by a small, dark-colored SUV, possibly a Kia, Honda or Hyundai.
The driver of the SUV, after striking the victim, headed north on Broadway without stopping or slowing. “The SUV would likely have damage on the right front or passenger side,” police said.
