Satan’s Disciples gang chief indicted on organized crime charges

The U.S. Attorney’s Office and other federal laws enforcement agencies are teaming up to investigate Satan’s Disciples members

The 31-year-old chief of the Grand Junction chapter of the Satan’s Disciples gang has been indicted on a slew of criminal charges including , arson and aggravated robbery.

Christopher Wilson, 31, of Grand Junction, was indicted Wednesday on 24 criminal counts including violating the , according to a news release from Mesa County District Attorney Daniel Rubinstein.

Arrest warrants have also been issued for Van Clyde Peacock and Sean McDonough for their alleged roles in the attempted burglary of First National Pawn in Grand Junction in April, a news release says.

The range of crimes allegedly orchestrated or committed by Wilson include multiple counts of arson, tampering with evidence, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, theft, menacing, burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office and other federal laws enforcement agencies are teaming up to investigate Satan’s Disciples members.

“These extreme measures were utilized in this case to assure that the case is handled with the utmost care,” Rubinstein wrote in a Thursday news release.
