An early Saturday morning shooting in the parking lot of El Viva Villa restaurant and bar has led to two arrests and left one man hospitalized, according to a news release.
Commerce City Police arrived at the restaurant at 5411 Quebec Street at about 2:30 a.m. after reports of a man with a gunshot wound. The man was taken by ambulance to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment, police said.
His condition is unknown at this time.
According to the news release, witnesses reported a fight outside the restaurant before hearing gunfire. The officers canvassed the area and detained two individuals matching the description provided by the witnesses.
