When third-grade little Johnny gets in trouble doing something he knows is wrong, his first reaction is to point out that Billy and Bobby are doing the same thing. “Why don’t they get in trouble, too?” he cries, implying that it is not fair. One would hope that by the time little Johnny becomes a man and gets into trouble, he would have the maturity to accept responsibility, show some remorse, and not deflect on others. I guess some little boys just do not grow up, do they, Sen. Al Franken?
