The Arapahoe County coroner has released the name of a 28-year-old man who was fatally shot late Monday night in an apartment parking lot.
Yishak Delessa was in the driver’s seat of a car , authorities say.
He died of the gunshot wound. The death was classified as a homicide, according to a news release by Dr. Kelly Lear, Arapahoe County coroner.
Samson Yitbarek, 32, is being held for investigation in the shooting, said Julie Brooks, spokeswoman for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were answering a call at building 20 of a large apartment complex at 9100 E. Florida Ave. at 11 p.m. when they heard gunshots, Brooks said.
They found Delessa in the driver’s seat of his car. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital, she said.
