Midway through the fourth quarter of the Cowboys-Raiders game on Sunday, Dallas’ Dak Prescott tried a quarterback sneak for a first-down.
When the chains were brought out, it looked too close to call, so a referee took an index card to see if it would fit between the ball and the end of the chain.
It didn’t. First down.
