I enjoyed the story about Johnny Fox, whom I watched perform many times on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. However, the best stunt of his act was one night near Christmas when he performed on “Friday Night Live,” a variety show I helped produce for CATV Boulder Public Access TV back in the late 1980s to mid-1990s.

Johnny swallowed a string of Christmas lights, we turned off all the lighting in the studio, Johnny turned on power to the string of lights, and we could see the lights shining colorfully through his stomach.
