Investigators suspect the same man robbed two metro-area banks about three months apart.
Surveillance photos of the suspect were released Monday, and investigators hope someone will recognize the robber and alert police.
The first robbery happened about 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at a FirstBank, 3531 S. Logan St., Englewood, according to an FBI news release. The robber handed a demand note to a teller and fled the robbery on foot. The robber is described as a white man with blond hair and an average build. He was wearing a bright green jacket and sunglasses.
The second robbery was about 2:15 p.m. Friday at a FirstBank, 1316 E. Evans Ave., Denver. The robber handed a demand note to a teller and fled the robbery on foot heading east. The robber is described as a white man, between ages 30 to 40, about 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-0, with a slim build and a broken front tooth. The robber wore a green and white long-sleeve flannel shirt, a black beanie cap, white sunglasses, orange construction vest, blue jeans and work boots.
The Englewood and Denver police departments and the FBI are investigating the robberies.
